1. I was born and raised in Jersey City, on Coles Street between 4th and 5th Streets. Grandparents lived on Coles Street and on Monmouth St. Aunts on 1st, 5th, 7th and also 8th Streets. Fr. J. DeSanctis baptized me in Holy Rosary Church in 1938. Went to kindergarten in Holy Rosary before moving uptown, but spent all my summers at my grandparents homes. My Uncle Fr. George Morreale was ordained in Italy and said his First Mass in Holy Rosary Church. My heart will always be there.

   I am proud to say that Fr. Frank Fano is a friend of mine. So good to see him in this interview. Watched it with tears in my eyes. Like you and Frankie said, “being Italian, we get very emotional”. How true that is. Great interview. God Bless both of you.

3. It was so good to see both of you. My classmate Lou, and Frankie who’s mass on 5th street I attended. yes Jersey City the.best, Holyy Rosary school and church we were so lucky. I am proud of both of you. Fr. Lou we have many memories of our 7th grade and Fr. Frank many memories of Canada, and Pensylvania. God Bless.

4. Very interesting interview brought back many memories of my time in downtown Jersey City went to Holy Rosary School lived on 3rd and Brunswick St also Monmouth between 3rd and 4th. My Father was a very delicated member of Holy Rosary Church knew your family very well. His name was Nunzio Viggiano God Bless! Sincerely Bob Viggiano
