Fr Lou
GREAT homily. It brought back so many memories back to me. When I was growing up my family always helped feed people in the neighborhood who needed it. There was an elderly lady whose children and grandchildren totally ignored her and she was too ill to go out to shop or even fix her self something so my mother and I made a daily trip to her home and dropped food off for her so she had some thing to eat. It was just part of what we did she was not the only one. There were many other people that came to our home and there was always room and it was some thing that my grandparents and my parents just did as a normal part of life.
Lou
I LOVE this.
