I heard your homily today about the Holy Trinity. I confess it made me laugh a little – about calling God the Father, Abba, [Daddy] .
In my grandmother’s prayer book from 1923 God the Father was always approached as: Hear Israel,The Lord our God The Lord is One. Fear of God was emphasized.
